Day 1
Upon arrival in Mongolia’s capital city, Ulaanbaatar, you will be transferred to the hotel. Afternoon free. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2
Today we enjoy a full day of guided sightseeing within the city of Ulaanbaatar. In the morning, we visit main center of Buddhism in Mongolia the Gandantegchenlen Monastery and the chanting temples as well as the temple of Megjid Janraisag, 26.5m high statue of Buddha. Afterwards we visit National History Museum and Choijin Lama Museum today. Dinner at local the restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3
This morning we drive to the ancient capital of Mongolia, Karakorum. Very little remains of the place from where Genghis Khan launched his mighty cavalry left. What do stand resplendent near the town are the massive walls of the Erdenzuu Monastery. This is first Buddhist Monastery in Mongolia and this monastery had to face the onslaught of Soviet desecration during the 19th century but is now being slowly and lovingly restored. On arrival we head to our ger camp by riverbank of Orkhon river. Box lunch on the way, dinner and overnight at the ger camp.

Day 4
Full day in Karakorum. We will visit Erdenezuu monastery in the morning and we will have short excursion in the town to explore the remains of ancient capital. Afternoon in leisure, walking in the surrounding area. Meals and overnight at ger camp.
Day 5
Today we drive to Tsetserleg town, the center of Arkhangai province. Here we visit Zayain Khuree Monastery. The monastery is built in 1631 and there used to live about 1000 monks permanently. On occasions of special worships of this Monastery over 4000 monks same time were involved in. Meals and overnight at ger camp.
Day 6
Today we drive to Tovkhon Monastery rested on the armchair-shaped peak of Shireet Ulaan Mountain at a height of 2,312 meters. The monastery was built by the initiative of Zanabazar and is the place where many of his most famous artworks were created. To the right of the temples a path leads upward to the summit of the peak. One branch of the path leads to the so-called Mother’s Womb, a narrow passageway which pilgrims crawl through to be symbolically reborn, cleansed of their sins. In the afternoon, we drive to ger camp near by Orkhon Waterfall. Box lunch on the way and dinner and overnight at ger camp.
TopDay 7
Today we drive to the place known as Mongol Els sand dunes, which is a long strip of sand stretching all the way from the Gobi Desert into the central regions of Mongolia. On the way first we stop at Shankh Monastery. This is one of oldest Buddhist Monasteries of Mongolia, founded by Zanabazar, when he was twelve or thirteen. Here Zanabazar lived and studied as a young man. Box lunch on the way and dinner and overnight at ger camp.
Day 8
Today we have day trip to Shireet Tsagaan Lake. This is the place where 5 year old boy Zanabazar was conferred as First Bogd (leader of Buddhist religion) of Mongolia and there built a big ceremonial ger for him for this special occasion. This became the foundation of Mongolian capital city, today’s Ulaanbaatar. Box lunch on the way and dinner and overnight at ger camp.
Day 9
Today we drive to Ulaanbaatar. Afternoon free. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10
Full day sightseeing tour in Ulaanbaatar. Today we will visit Winter Palace of VIII Bogd Khan and Fine Art Museum. Both museums house impressive displays of Mongolian Religious history. Time will be provided in the afternoon to shop for Mongolian cashmere products and souvenirs. Our evening program include a concert featuring national music and dancing followed by farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight accommodations will be at the hotel.
Day 11
Transfer for international departure.
