Dear Urnaa and Bataa,
My whole experience in Mongolia was delightful, educational, fun and so very special in every way possible. I am truly glad that I stayed the extra two weeks! I really left Mongolia with a beautiful feeling for your country and the delightful people I met along the way. The whole population is so friendly, always smiling, singing, and enjoying life. I truly felt at home and very comfortable there.
Be sure to give my best greetings to Bataa and Terbish; they both contributed so much to the first two weeks. All of the drivers, also, did such a special job for our whole group.
During the second two weeks, Eegii and Nergui did a fantastic job of taking care of me and showing me other parts of Mongolia. They were very professional, a joy to travel with, and full of interesting information. We had many long discussions about Mongolian customs, music, life styles, social issues etc. They were always willing to answer my questions and explore any topic I wanted to discuss. We laughed lot, sang a lot and ate way too much. Whenever I mentioned something I had read about, they added that to the next day’s itinerary for me. They were so accommodating. I could not possibly have had two better people showing me your spectacular country.
I miss you, and, again, thank you so much for all your efforts, and all of your special “extras” you provided for me.

-We had a fantastic week, getting a great introduction to Mongolia. We loved the meeting nomadic family. We are very grateful to our guide and driver for arranging this. We wish we’d had more experiences like this. We thank our guide and driver for being flexible with times of departure and arrival each day. This made it possible for the children to have plenty of rest. I think we should have been recommended to allocate more time to this part of our trip. 7 days has not enough to include activities including hiking, horse riding –as well as traveling. There are the promised photos for the nomadic family we met on Tuesday 28th of July, not too far from Hujirt. Thank you so much for getting them to them, we would be so sad if we did not follow through with our promise. Such happy memories we have of Mongolia, think about you all often!!
